Completed Projects

KN Network Services / Eircom Exchanges

As part of Eircom renewal of exchanges we are working with KNNS surveying the exchanges and surrounding access routes to allow new fibre ducting to be installed.

Limerick Regeneration Project

We are working with PUNCH Consulting Engineers and Limerick City Council in providing accurate, up to date information on buried services within several housing and industrial estates in Limerick.

Castletownbere Harbour

The extent of castletownbere harbour is being surveyed as part of the upgrade works to commence in the new year. This site comprises 5.2 acre working harbour.

NE Hospital Site

This survey work comprises 5 no. hospitals in the north east region. Topographical and utility surveying works are required to allow design and construction of various new facilities within the existing hospital grounds.

MACE

For this project, we conducted a Services Location Survey in a controlled airfield environment. The task was scheduled during off-peak hours to minimize disruption to daily airport operations. Much of the work happened at night with airfield escorts. The surveyed site included aprons, taxiways, and aircraft stands near pier C. We utilized Ground Penetrating Radar, Radio Detection equipment, and surveyed manholes/access chambers within the site boundary.

Iarnrod Eireann

For this project, we undertook two tasks. First, we collected and collated utility data from rail corridor service providers between Heuston Station and Hazelhatch Station. This information was analyzed and overlaid onto existing drawings, creating a complete set of current records. Second, we conducted Services Location Surveys at overpasses and specified site areas. This involved surveying to determine buried utility details and providing findings drawings.

RPS / DAA

In this contract we were required to carry out a Services Location Survey of the Land-side campus of Dublin Airport. Prior to ground-works commencing on the 40 hectare site, the survey was carried out to determine the location, alignment and depth of all buried utilities. The located services were then surveyed and plotted onto existing topographical drawings for presentation to the client and to assist in the design process.

CSS

In this project we were required to carry out a Services  Location Survey to establish the location and depth of all underground utilities within the 20 acre site and surrounding roads of the Quays Shopping Centre, Newry. The area comprised mostly car parks and roads. Traffic management plans and procedures were set in place to facilitate the road-works. Manhole Surveys, GPR Scans and Radio Detection Passes were utilised to complete the works.

Pier D Extension – Dublin Airport.

The scope of work in this project was to locate, identify and surface mark all services within a prior agreed area adjacent to the Pier D and to survey the information to produce a marked up drawing of our findings. In the sensitive environment of the airfield there exist many buried utilities such as communication and electrical ducts, drainage pipes and oil pipes. Survey allowed many incidents of breakages and damage to be mitigated.
